I am soo sad tonight. I just found out that a former classmate's 10 year old son passed away yesterday from what is believed to be meningitis. I haven't seen or talked to Becky in several years, and it's soo sad for this to be the reason that we connect now.
I can not imagine the pain that she and her family are feeling right now. The emptiness. The loneliness. Empty arms. A Jon size hole in the family. A parent's worst nightmare come to life.
Please keep this family in your prayers as they prepare to say their final goodbye to their son. Pray for peace, comfort, and strength in the coming days, weeks, months and years.
Hug your kids a little harder tonight. I know I will.
